Annual Photographer $25 Donations Notice
Let us begin by extending a warm and heartfelt thank you to each and every photographer who volunteers their time for the families of Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep. NILMDTS would truly be nothing without you.
You each give so much of yourselves throughout the year and your annual $25 membership donations are a small but vital piece of that. We, as an organization, use your donation to help in many ways -
- For the maintenance of the Photographer and Family Forums. Many of you visit the Forum regularly and have received a great amount of good advice and support from your fellow photographers.
- To maintain our website and the web based photographer database.
- To offset the cost of mailing brochures, lanyards and other materials when you request them.
- To ensure that we have the manpower available in our offices to respond quickly and accurately to your needs.
- To aid in the recruitment of other photographers who would like to be a part of NILMDTS.
- To help with the publication of a training manual our Co-Founders and Senior Members are working on right now. Expected completion date is April, 2008. NILMDTS staff will then mail copies to all current members and all incoming new members.
As you know, we moved our website to a new server in September 2007 and at that time launched our web based database that makes it much easier for you to make changes to your account in real time and for you to upload session information and expenditures. With this transition, the database marked all of our photographers for automatic renewal in January of 2008. Heather has spent countless hours wading through the year of Annual Donation payments and we believe that we have adjusted everyone's schedule so that only those photographers who should be renewing in January will be notified. This does not, of course, mean that someone somewhere did not
"slip through the cracks".
If you receive a renewal notice and do not believe that you should be renewing in January, please our office and insert "ANNUAL DONATION" into the subject line. If the Annual Donation is beyond your means at the moment and you would like to request a waiver, please email headquarters and someone will take care of it immediately.
Many of you have been logging your sessions admirably since the new site launched. Thank you! If you require a receipt of your expenditures for tax purposes, please email headquarters with your request and insert RECEIPT REQUEST in the subject line. All receipts will be postmarked no latter than January 31, 2009.
