Dear Parents,
Our deepest sympathy is with you and your family during your time of loss. The death of a child is something no parent should ever have to experience. There simply are not words to express the depth of the sorrow...we are here to share in your pain, aid you in your Healing, bring Hope to your future and Honor your precious child.
Who is eligible for the services of Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep?
The services of Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep are available for all parents experiencing an infant loss, (as early as 25 weeks gestation or at the discretion of medical personnel).
What does NILMDTS provide the family?
NILMDTS can provide you with heirloom memories of your precious baby. At minimum you will be provided with a CD file of your baby (images retouched) and a copyright release so that you can personally reproduce the images at a developer of your choice and at your cost.
How does the NILMDTS program work?
At your request, we will have an NILMDTS affiliated photographer come to your hospital or hospice location for a private and sensitive photography session. Our affiliated photographers are dedicated to making this photography session as loving, sensitive and private as possible.
When should I contact NILMDTS?
Please contact us As Soon As Possible! Some parents are contacting the NILMDTS affiliated photographers knowing the child they are carrying to term will not survive. Some parents may not of heard of NILMDTS through their hospitals, and contact us afterwards. In several cases, the affiliated photographer may be available to do a private session at the funeral home.
How much will the services of NILMDTS cost?
Absolutely nothing! No parent should ever have to worry about cost during this time. All of our affiliated photographers are volunteers. They graciously provide their time and services, as a gift from their heart.
