I was almost 39 weeks pregnant with our 3rd little boy, Boden Truett Adair-we have 4 year old twin boys,Aidan & Calston.The day, November 2, 2007,began as usual.I began having contractions around noon and by 2:00,I realized that I had not felt Boden move as he usually does.At this point the contractions were intense and I was instructed to get in a warm bath and drink alot of water.The contractions only got worse,so we proceeded to the hospital.It took the nurses several minutes to realize that they could not find a heartbeat,so the on-call doctor came in with an u/s machine...our world fell apart-there wasn't a heartbeat.It was as still as could be.Just 2 days before at my 38 week checkup and ultrasound,Boden was kicking and playing.We now know that Boden grew his angel wings in the midst of my contractions earlier that day, as a result of cord compression.Thank you, Stuart Hasson, Sharon Nord & NILMDTS for allowing us to capture the most breathtaking images of our sweet angel.
