On Friday May 2 I fell asleep with my fiance's hand on my belly as we shared in feeling one of Alexis' common episode of hiccups. Little did we know that we had just felt her move for the very last time. The next day I was exactly 36 weeks along and felt no movement, we decided something was wrong and went to the hospital where we discovered Alexis was no longer alive. We returned to the hospital on Sunday and our beautiful baby girl was born on Monday May 5, 2008 at 7:46p.m. We had never heard of nilmdts but our nurse informed us that she had called a friend(our photographer) and that she would be coming to take pictures of our baby. We did not know at the time what an amazing gift this would turn out to be. Kristin came the next morning and captured the beauty of our daughter and the few precious moments we had together. We are eternally grateful to Kristin and nilmdts. Thank you so much for these memories. You have truly touched our lives and helped our hearts begin to heal.
