My pregnancy was pretty routine I was due July 21, 2008. I had gestional diabetes, however it was controlled. On July 11th I went to the hospital to have my routine non stress test the final one...I was scheduled to have a C-section July 14th due to Elizabeth being breech. At the hospital the nurse couldn't locate her heartbeat...after several other people verified there wasn't a beating heart I had to make the call to my husband. At 11:56 pm our beautiful daughter was delivered. She was 9lbs 4oz and 21 inches long...she was perfect. They believe it was velamentous cord insertion that lead to her demise. I didn't learn of NILMDTS until I arrived at home. I contacted Amy who graciously came to the funeral home and took pictures that my family will treasure forever. I am now on a mission to make sure that the hospitals in my area know of this program and how to get ahold of these photographers...thank you Amy and NILMDTS for all that you have done...The photos are priceless
