At 21 weeks gestation our son Gabriel was diagnosed with a fatal disorder called bilateral renal agenesis, also known as Potter’s syndrome. We were devastated by the news. While searching for ways to be able to remember our baby we came across NILMDTS. On March 1, 2008 our journey with our pregnancy came to an end. Our little son Gabriel was born at 11:10 pm. He was taken to be with his heavenly Father at 1:00 am. Even though he was only on this earth with us for a mere two hours our sweet baby boy taught us so much. We cherished every beautiful moment we had with him. Even during something so heart wrenching we were shown God’s amazing grace. We are so very thankful to our photographer Trina Lewis and for all the beautiful memories she helped create. This gift has and will continue to help us heal. Although we miss our son more than words can express we also know that we are only separated from him by our time left here on earth. See you soon sweet boy.
