We found out at 12 weeks that our little girl had trisomy 18. We chose to continue our pregnancy even though we were told it would not be likely for her to survive beyond the second trimester. Despite our challenges our little Alliah made it to the third trimester. We found out at 35 weeks that her little heart stopped beating. We delivered her a few days after we received the news that she had passed. We made contact with a NILMDTS photographer named Sue Austin. She took the most incredible pictures that we will forever treasure. They are priceless. We miss our little girl everyday, but we feel blessed to have met Sue and to have our pictures nearby. Alliah will never be forgotten.
