I was 39 weeks when I went into the doctors for the last time but it all turned into a nightmare. The doppler wouldnt work so they just did an ultrasound and that is when everything changed. I found out that the her heart had stopped. Then I had to call my husband and try to tell him what happened. That was August 11 2008. At 3am on August 13th I gave birth to Elora Michelle Read. She was 7lbs 6oz and 20 inches. It was probably the hardest thing I have ever done because we were looking forward to starting our family because my father had just passed away a month before we got pregnant and that was the last thing my dad asked me was if I was pregnant. My husband and I felt like we were robbed. My dad was only 42 and then our daughter wasnt even given a fighting chance. After all the tests came back we found out that she had pinched her cord when she was moving further down. Now we are dealing with it all and keep telling ourselves that my dad got the grandchild he always wanted and ever
