On Friday, February 16, we found out that our baby was testing positive for Trisomy 13. The diagnosis was bad, and the prognosis was worse - the probability that our child would not live to be born. If she did, she would probably only live a few days, or hours . . . or possibly only minutes. On April 30 we received the devastating news that our girl had no heartbeat, and had probably passed several days before. After the initial devastation, we made arrangements to deliver her body, and I contacted Lori immediatly. She was wonderful. She said she felt blessed that she had a cancellation that day, because she felt so close to us that she wanted to take the pics herself. She not only created beautiful memories, she helped us deal with the devastation. She was more caring than anyone could have possibly been. I will never regret having the pictures taken, but would have always regretted not doing so. In lieu of flowers at the funeral, we requested donations to NILMDTS. Thank you.
