Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep Volunteers of the Month
April 2009.
For our April 2009 Volunteer of the Month, we're doing something a little different. Every week we have 5 wonderful volunteers who come in and help us out in the headquarters office. For the last several months they have been tirelessly scanning and emailing VSAs, creating new file folders for all of our 7,000 volunteer photographers and filing, filing, filing. They've each committed to a weekly schedule and just about every day we see one or two of their smiling faces. It has been a life-saver to have so many willing helpers! These wonderful volunteers have lightened the load in the headquarters office. They show up with a smile and a ready to work attitude each and every week!

The Process for choosing the Volunteer of the Month
The Co-Founders select the Volunteer of the Month by considering many deciding factors including -- Nominations from families, hospitals and fellow photographers
- The nominee’s established leadership in their community
- And their hard work following the necessary guidelines within NILMDTS including completion and logging of consent forms.
Nominations should be e-mailed to headquarters@nilmdts.org with the subject line of "VOLUNTEER OF THE MONTH NOMINATION". The Headquarters Office will accept nominations at any time throughout the month.
Each NILMDTS Volunteer of the Month receives a congratulatory plaque which can be proudly displayed in their studios as well as a profile here throughout the month of their award.
This is a wonderful way for us here at NILMDTS to recognize the outstanding achievements and the giving nature of ourvolunteer base.
