The NILMDTS Remembrance Walk, “Our Journey Together” is for parents, family members, and friends to come together to remember a precious baby who has died due to miscarriage, stillbirth, SIDS, neonatal or any type of pregnancy or infant loss.

Join us at the Colorado Walk either in person at Heritage Lakewood Belmar Park or watch the presentation online from the comfort of your home. The NILMDTS Remembrance Walk is an opportunity to bring honor to our babies and healing to our hearts. The Walk also ensures future support to families who will sadly walk in our shoes one day.

ABOUT THE WALK:

The Walk includes a presentation with readings, music, and speakers to honor your baby.  During the presentation, each baby is honored by having their name read aloud.  Following the presentation, we encourage all participants to journey with their friends and family for a one mile reflective walk.

WALK DAY:

On the day of the event you will arrive at the walk location and head to the registration table. We will check everyone in your family and team in. This is when you’ll receive your butterflies, shirts & programs. “Being involved in the walk has provided us an opportunity to honor our son Owen. Just as importantly, we wanted to provide the same kind of support to others who have had similar experiences. This is an amazing community that has been so supportive to my husband and me during a tragic time, and we hope that we can extend that support to others.”
