SUMMARY:Baby Steps 5k Run/Walk
DESCRIPTION:The Baby Steps 5k Walk/Run is in honor of Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Day (which is October 15\, though we’re running/walking in September when the weather is hopefully nicer for being outdoors!). Miscarriage\, stillbirth\, and infant loss are sad realities for many families in the United States and around the world. Proceeds from this race will be donated to the Star Legacy Foundation\, Amos’ Anchors\, and Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep. \nPrice information: \n🐤 Early bird pricing ends August 31 \n💲 Family price option is available for a maximum of 2 adults and up to 4 children – $60 \nRace information: \n🚶‍♂️  Walkers will follow a one-loop course – 2 miles \n🏃  Runners will follow a two-loop course – 3.1 miles \n👕 Shirts are included with registration before September 1 \n🍎 Post-race snacks and water are provided \nSchedule of events: \nFriday\, September 26 \n5-7 PM: Bib pick-up & pre-race check-in. Location: Biggby\, 23944 Red Arrow Hwy\, Mattawan\, MI 49071 \nSaturday\, September 27 \n8:30 AM – Bib pick-up and on-site registration \n10:00 AM – Race begins \n11:15 AM – Ceremony of Remembrance \n  \nThis race is organized by Amos’ Anchors and Forever Loved (A Committee for Better Perinatal Bereavement Care in West Michigan). \n
