Announcing Reformatting of Patient Experience Conference 2020: In-person gathering to transition to virtual learning opportunity. With the rapid spread of coronavirus globally we are reminded of how essential our healthcare systems are, the critical role members of our community play and how fundamental the experience we provide remains. After engaging healthcare experts and community members on the best path forward, we have decided not to convene in Orlando for Patient Experience Conference 2020. As a global (and virtual) community of practice committed to elevating the human experience in healthcare, we also believe the opportunity for connection, learning and expanding our conversation must be sustained. For this reason, while we will not meet in person for PX2020, we will offer a multi-week virtual conference opportunity, starting April 27. Kicking off during Patient Experience Week, Virtual Patient Experience Conference 2020 (Virtual PX2020) will offer over 40 sessions from presenters around the globe and engage and involve our great supporters and exhibitors.

As a photography professional, it is important to continue to grow and expand your skill set in order to better serve your clients and possibly allow you to utilize your skills to give back to your community. Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep (NILMDTS) is offering photographers just that chance. We have crafted a training that will not only enhance your professional photography abilities but allow you to give back in a powerful way. Conducted within the context of a NILMDTS session the key elements of this training include: photograph composition, posing, focusing, and lighting. While these skills are taught within the framework of a NILMDTS session these skills can transfer across a variety of scenarios that you may encounter. At the completion of this training, you will leave with an expanded skill set and an understanding of what skills you need to be approved as a NILMDTS photographer.

The Spring Virtual Walk will include an online presentation with readings, music, and speakers to honor your baby. During the presentation, each baby is honored by having their name read aloud. A Virtual Resource Library including additional speakers and musicians will also be available. Attendees are encouraged to take some personal time to journey with their friends and family for a one-mile reflective walk in their own community. Together, we will create the same sense of community and support found at our in-person walks.
