You’ve applied, so what happens next? The Volunteer Application Committee (VAC) will review your application within two to four (2-4) weeks and email you a response. If you don’t hear back, please make sure you have checked your spam/promotions/updates or any other filtered folders.
Additional Images Requested
Once the VAC team reviews your application, we may request additional images. This isn’t a cause for initial concern. Rather, this means what was submitted could not be properly evaluated, usually because some image submission requirements needed to be met. However, if you are concerned, you may have submitted images outside of our image guidelines, feel free to send additional images to email@example.com proactively. Our Recruitment Coordinator will be happy to work with applicants to ensure the best and the correct images are submitted for a successful evaluation.
If you have been approved by our VAC team, congratulations! You will receive a welcome and next steps email with information on how to log into our training portal. All volunteers are required to accept our Volunteer Services Agreement (VSA) and complete online training.
Once the VSA in complete, there is approximately (2) hours of required video-based training in order to prepare you for your NILMDTS role. We ask that you complete the required training within a month of approval. If you cannot complete your training in that timeframe but wish to volunteer, we ask that you please let our Recruitment Coordinator know at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Once your training is complete, you will be a fully activated NILMDTS volunteer and will then receive a badge and welcome packet in the mail.
If you have any further questions, please feel free to email email@example.com.
