GENERAL WALK QUESTIONS
The Virtual Walk includes an online presentation with readings, music, and speakers to honor your baby. During the presentation, each baby is honored by having his or her name read aloud. Following the presentation, we encourage all participants to journey with their friends and family for a one mile reflective walk in their own community. Together, we will create the same sense of community and support found at our in person walks.
Yes! The Virtual Walk will include an online presentation on the date of the event. A link will be sent via email to all attendees on the morning of the event. Be sure to make sure that our emails are marked as a “Safe Sender” and added to your contacts (email@example.com). The presentation will include a message from a speaker, music, and most importantly the reading of all the precious baby’s names.
You can fundraise for a butterfly grow kit through your tribute page created when you register. If you have any questions about the fundraising level or date to fundraise by, please email us here.
We encourage all attendees to find a special way to honor their baby following the online presentation. Here are just a few ideas:
❤️Organize a local walk with friends and family
❤️Post a video to the event FB page to come together virtually with other loss families
❤️Find a peaceful place to release your butterflies
❤️Visit your baby(ies) gravesite
All attendees will have access to the Virtual Walk online presentation even after the Virtual Walk date. You can watch the presentation and honor your baby on another date that works for you and your family!
Unfortunately, we are not currently opening registration for the Virtual Walk to International Participants. The cost for shipping the items outside of the U.S. in the past has been higher than the cost of the registration items being mailed. If we get an overwhelming response to have an International option again in the future, we will be sure to make an announcement through our social platforms and email newsletters!
FUNDRAISING AND SPONSORSHIP
Thank you so much for your support and for reaching out in this regard. When a donation is made on our website or through a fundraising platform and it does not indicate that it is for team fundraising, it does not automatically get applied as a donation towards the walk. It is received in as a general donation. If you can email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and let us know where the donation was received, then our headquarters office can pull the fundraising total and manually added to Race Roster.

Fees associated with registering for the event are applied towards the cost of the event. Additional funding collected from registration, fundraising pages, and t-shirt sales supports all Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep photography services. When you create a team for your baby, make sure you contact your place of employment and see if they have matching gifts available. Ask them to match the amount you raise in your baby’s name. Obtain the necessary paperwork that NILMDTS may need to fill out and send it to NILMDTS and email it here.
