April 2021 Volunteer Spotlight

Many may not know that NILMDTS small staff of 8, half of which are part-time employees, also volunteer their time in the various volunteer roles. In fact, many of the staff started as volunteers and were able to apply to fill a staff need as transitions happened “in the office” (of course, which is now all 100% virtual). This month, we’d like to share gratitude for Lisa Manchester. Lisa is known as the voice and talent behind many of our retouching videos. She is our staff Session Specialist aiding families in finding missing sessions – those they lost for various reasons or the image delivery email did not make it to them. She coordinates all the retouching that comes in from the public as well as Medical Affiliates and various other supporting administrative tasks. Outside of her staff role, she also is an Affiliated Photographer and Digital Retouch Artist – level 3. She spends countless hours on top of her “day job” volunteering to retouch countless sessions.
