November 2022 Volunteer Spotlight

Michelle, Digital Retouch Artist, goes above and beyond to create beautiful retouched images for families. Michelle pays extremely close attention to detail, and makes every session that she works on special. For example, she recently edited a session where she noticed a special necklace on the baby and reached out to find out more information as to why it was special to add the perfect frame and quote on the second version. The family was so happy with Michelle’s retouching they sent feedback stating “This is so perfect. They are here now, and they are in love with all of the photos so far! It put smiles on all our faces. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.” Thank you Michelle for going above and beyond and giving so much care and love in each session you edit!

We have so many amazing volunteers and this month we are excited to shine the light on Halé Adams of Rainier, WA. Halé joined NILMDTS in 2019 as an Affiliated Photographer and has provided the gift of remembrance to 51 families since she began volunteering.”I am a volunteer photographer and dispatcher for the Seattle area. When I dispatch, she is one of the few volunteers in the South region of the Seattle area and she takes every session I reach out to her for. She will even go to her area hospitals multiple times in one week. She is such a rock star and totally deserves it!” – Katherine Hill

From the bottom of all our hearts, from NILMDTS Staff and Volunteer Leadership, we thank you very much for all your efforts in serving families and volunteers!
