September 2019 Volunteer Spotlight

It is not too often that a medical professional reaches out to provide positive feedback about a volunteer unexpectedly but that is exactly what happened! This nurse let us know that on the 4th of July she was caring for a family with a full term loss. She was surprised and very glad that a volunteer was able to come take photos on the holiday. Alexandra Crozier (aka Sasha) of Englewood, CO was this very volunteer. The nurse said she has worked with them before and that she has made such an impact on the families she serves that she is aware that one of the families named a new puppy after her.

Sasha has been a NILMDTS Affiliated Photographer since 2018 and has taken 19 sessions.

From the bottom of all our hearts, from NILMDTS Staff and Volunteer Leadership, we thank you very much for all your efforts in serving your local families!

If you have a suggestion of a volunteer who should receive a shoutout in our monthly spotlight, please email volunteercoordinators@nilmdts.org!
