We have established what we refer to as our “Standard Gift,” which is outlined in detail on our Consent Form. It’s crucial for us to treat all families equally and compassionately, and providing a standardized gift ensures fairness across the board. We understand your desire for as many images as possible of your baby, and we take the responsibility of curating images from these sessions very seriously.
While we deeply value the role of color photography, our specific gift, the vision of our founders, our editing expertise, and the mission of our organization are centered on providing heirloom-quality black and white portraits. These images are crafted with great care to remove distractions, highlight the beauty of each baby, and create a timeless legacy for families to cherish.
While that is our Standard Gift, NILMDTS actively encourages families to take their own color photographs, recognizing that these images can also be an equally important part of the healing process. To support this, our photographers are trained to help families take their own color photos using our lighting and posing setups and the family’s own camera or cell phone(s). This allows families to have a collection of both color and black-and-white images that honor their baby’s memory in different ways.
By adhering to a standard gift, we can continue serving over 4,000 families annually and expanding our reach to those who need our services during such challenging times.
If you have any further questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re here to assist you in any way we can.
